The bird is going down!

The turkey is the most important part of most Thanksgiving feasts! We really need to focus most of our attention on it if we want our dinner to be memorable. I have found this great web site that will help anyone cook their bird to perfection! It may seem extreme, but I agree with the lower temperature cooking method. the key is giving your self enough time to let the bird do it’s thing without trying to rush it. This may mean getting up with the sun, but if you are really wanting to give thanks, and enjoy your loved ones, that isn’t too much to ask.

Well tomorrow is Sunday, so It’s time for another update on my smoking/nonsmoking journal! Monday I want to go into the stuffing! My favorite part of the meal! I will say I agree with the site I added to this post when they say your stuffing should be cooked separately from your turkey! this is not only safe, but it keeps you from drying out your bird! If you really want, you can stuff the bird after It’s cooked, for presentation.
