kitchen Angst!

I am going to take a different and possibly controversial look at this subject! I don’t want to talk about the plight of those in camps over seas, or even those in exile from war torn countries, instead I choose to focus my post on the people who put themselves in exile willingly to support their families back in their home country’s. I am talking of course about those we call “Illegal aliens”. I have spent my whole career working with this group and I can say with certainty that they don’t come here to make it rich, buy a Lexus, or a gold watch. They risk life and limb to come here to make the money to send back to their family and ensure they have food on the table, a roof over their head, and shoes on their feet! I honestly feel as bad as things are on other continents, We as Americans should be concerned about our own backyard first! If we were to help in Mexico, Central, and South America, to rebuild their infrastructure, and make them stronger countries, more independent, and financially stable, We wouldn’t have the influx of Latinos flooding into this country in the first place! But no, We would much rather be the “Saviors of the World” than help our neighbors out of poverty! All anyone who comes here from a Latin country wants is a better life for them self, and their family. We should help them achieve that without them having to sneak across the border and work for slave wages. This would not only boost our own economy, but it just might gain us respect with the rest of the world as well.
I am in no way trying to suggest that We turn a blind eye to the rest of the world, but instead that We stop turning one to our closest neighbors!

We are the America’s , We need to start acting like it!

Only then will We be able to live in harmony as We should! Then We ( as a Continent) together will be able to help other parts of the World, with much better results.

We just elected a new President, who’s whole thing is CHANGE! so lets hold Him to it, and start here at home!

UNITED WE STAND!

Lets make this encompass all the Americas, not just the United States of…

Europe did it with the E. U. why can’t We!!!
