kitchen Angst!

I wrote this post a few days early because I was afraid I wouldn’t have the time or feel up to writing anything after I got home from the polls. I leave my house for work at 6:00am and work until 2:30pm, so I wont even reach my polling site until 3:00pm or later and who knows what the lines are going to be like. I want to vote, I have to vote, I need to be able to bitch about what happens over the next 4 years!

As you can see I have been quite anal about posting every day since I started this blog on September 6th, with the exception of October 9th, where I got overly ambitious and posted too soon ( I posted after midnight my time. Not taking into account the time difference, between me and today.com’s headquarters ) and even though I changed the time stamp ( within two hours of posting ) , today.com made me change it back. Meaning I didn’t get credit for the post on the 9th, instead It shows I posted twice on the 8th. I really don’t care so much about the dollar I lost from this. I do however care about not having a “perfect posting record” for the month. I won’t make that mistake again!

I don’t care how you vote, America, just vote! I am going to be serving Democrat, and Republican pancakes today as my special. The Democratic stack will have a fresh blueberry syrup, while the Republican stack will get a strawberry syrup ( also fresh )! The Undecideds will come with powdered sugar and maple syrup. I’ll do my own poll and let you know who wins!

Well It’s 3:00pm here and I just got home from voting! There was no line at my polling site, as a matter of fact I was one of maybe 7 people there to cast our ballots! Even though I loved not standing in line for hours, I hope it wasn’t a sign of a low voter turn out in my area!
