OK, lets get to that free steak!!!!
Yes It is true… It is free! But there is a catch, you have to eat the whole meal in under an hour, and that includes the sides(a baked potato, salad, shrimp cocktail and dinner roll) . The Big Texan has been offering this deal for as long as I can remember, and almost everyday someone completes it successfully( that should tell you something about i-40( route 66) and Amarillo). We love our BEEF! OK here’s the deal, you walk in and order the 72oz, special and tell them how you want it prepared, they fix it and you have just one hour to finish it once it hits your table(no unsupervised potty breaks!)! If you do it… it is free and your name and face go on the wall, If not however, you have to pay, and it ain’t cheep! I love that I am bringing this up in October, because this is scary! I feel everything in moderation is good. This is not moderation in my eye. It may be fun, but it is gluttony at Its best! 4 and 1/2 pounds of anything is too much, but it makes for a good show!
