All this week I have focused on food festivals!
I want to continue on with this theme today. Even though there are way too many festivals that deal with food for me to tackle individually, I wanted to pass on this great website so you can look up any festival you would like to attend. It lists the festivals by month so if you are planning your vacation you could see where you might want to go, or when to plan your trip to a certain location to ensure you will get the most out of your trip. This is a great website for the foodie in all of us, If you are looking for the festivals just click on Festivals & shows. It lists them not only by month but also by town or Country! I know I will be visiting this site a lot while planning my next vacation! If I could go to Cologne, Germany in the first week in February, I would have 4 days, of two different shows, on sweets to attend! I love sweets, and I know Cologne has the Chocolate museum I have discussed in my earlier blog on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Though I wouldn’t have postponed my trip to coordinate the “sweets shows” then, I will strongly consider it for my next trip to that part of Germany. I have a friend in Düsseldorf, as well as one in Cologne so I know I will be back. Now I also know that the first week in February would be a great time to go. I encourage all of you to check out this website and see if anything peaks your interest!
